Pune: Global technology leader Honeywell (Nasdaq: HON) has announced a strategic collaboration with Stereolabs, a pioneer in 3D computer vision, to introduce an innovative mobile logistics solution aimed at supply chain optimization.
This cutting-edge system enables rapid and precise measurement of size, volume, and weight for boxes and pallets, empowering logistics providers to improve delivery speed and reduce shipping costs.
Supply Chain Optimization Solution
The integrated solution combines Stereolabs’ AI-powered stereoscopic ZED cameras – which provide real-time dimensioning through visual perception – with Honeywell’s SwiftDecoder software, known for its high-performance barcode and text decoding capabilities.

Together, the technologies offer a unified mobile platform that captures crucial logistics data and uploads it automatically to a central database.
Supply chain optimization empowers distribution centers with greater operational agility, allowing for optimal truck loading, accurate vehicle planning, and end-to-end item traceability – all of which are crucial for driving efficiency and lowering logistics expenses.
